Come and enjoy some family-friendly crafts this half-term at a selection of our libraries, inspired by travel and transport! Suitable for children aged 4-11. This craft session has been kindly organised by Suffolk Archives and is inspired by their new exhibition Departures: Exploring Emigration from Suffolk.

Come along to Mildenhall Library for some half term fun for all the family! Pick up a board game or jigsaw puzzle from our wide selection, suitable for primary school aged children. Feel free to bring your own along too!
Come along to the library to play with poems this half-term! Scared of spiders? Horrified by heights? Terrified of Tyrannosaurus Rexes? Bring along your worst fears and together we will turn them into things we can easily overcome.
Get involved in games, craft activities and a little bit of writing as we face our fears this half term break with these free workshops facilitated by poet and performer Ben MacPherson! Booking is required.

Want to keep the little ones busy this half-term week? Join us at Oulton Broad Library for a free interactive workshop for children aged 6-11! Become a rock detective and solve a forensic mystery with your new-found knowledge and conduct experiments to learn more about them.

Looking for something fun to do with your little ones this half term? Join us at Lowestoft Library for a free craft activity for children and families! We'll be making a variety of fish crafts using different materials (all provided).
What happens when we open a book? Where can imagination take us? Join our three dancers and vocal artist as they Jump In to a hilarious world of make-believe! This playful performance for young children is packed with exploration and joy. The show is made by children and grownups for audiences aged 3-6, and is enjoyed by everyone.

Join us for our Teen Code Club for ages 13-16 at Ixworth Library! If you love tech and digital art, come along on the first and third Wednesday of every month to make games using python, raspberry pi, robotics, 3D modelling and much more!

Come along to Oulton Broad Library for our Pets As Therapy session for children! Read a story to one of our visiting dogs or simply engage in a comfy cuddle with either Mr Darcy or Fleur.
This session is aimed at primary school aged children who want to build their confidence in reading aloud in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Reading to therapy dogs is a great way to boost reading skills and encourage positive wellbeing.

Join Trainmaster Suffolk for a morning of terrific train fun at Reydon Sports & Community Centre! Enjoy miles of track and trains to play, with plus ride on train and a train roller coaster! Suitable for children under 10.

Join us for an afternoon at Halesworth Library and get stuck in with making bird feeders out of everyday items and plant some seeds in your own decorated cup! A great half-term activity for children and families and the perfect way to welcome wildlife into our gardens.
