Charlie Mackesy

Much loved author and illustrator Charlie Mackesy will be joining us at Woodbridge Library for a fundraising event on Friday 23 August. Charlie will be signing copies of his best-selling book, The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse.

Tickets are £5.00 each and are available to book online. All funds raised from this event will go towards supporting Suffolk Libraries and the important work we do for communities across Suffolk.

Alex Downing, Suffolk Libraries Fundraising and Partnership Manager who also arranged the event, said:

“We are over the moon to be able to welcome the dearly loved author, Charlie Mackesy to Woodbridge Library to sign copies of his best-selling book. He is very kindly giving his time to support our fundraising efforts, to help us reduce social, digital and rural isolation in Suffolk. Charlie’s book has brought comfort to so many people and really epitomizes what we are all about as an independent charity.”

Charlie Mackesy is a British artist, illustrator and author. He began his career as a cartoonist for The Spectator, before becoming a book illustrator for Oxford University Press.
