Why donate to Suffolk Libraries

Your donations help us to support people across Suffolk by reducing isolation, improving wellbeing, and delivering vital services to our communities. Please donate and help support our important work.

Why donate to Suffolk Libraries?

Many of our additional services are made possible by your generous donations, and we're able to provide activities, spaces and services for free.

With the support of our communities, we've done some amazing things since 2012, but we need your help to keep our services going. Please donate and support Suffolk Libraries - it matters now more than ever. Just £5 a month will go a long way.

You can help make Suffolk healthier

We're one of the only library services in the country with a dedicated health and wellbeing service, , including drop-in sessions, a menopause project, period poverty service, reading lists and resources to help with your wellbeing.

Research shows every £1 spent on Suffolk Libraries’ services creates £6 in ‘social value’ and we save NHS services in Suffolk £542K every year.

You can help provide welcoming spaces across Suffolk

We hold more than 10,000 events, activities and experiences that are attended more than 170,000 times every year.

Our library spaces are for everyone - for parents and young children to engage in fun activities, for teens to have a quiet space to work on homework, for older people to socialise with others. Whatever you use the library for, our doors are always open.

You can help reach the isolated

Our libraries sit at the heart of your community, but we need your help to maintain the vital services that support some of the most vulnerable people in Suffolk.

Your donation will help reduce rural, social and digital isolation by making sure our services are here for everyone and anyone who needs them.
