Annual crime writing convention [CrimeFest](https://www.crimefest.com/) recently announced its shortlisted [2021 award nominees](https://www.crimetime.co.uk/crimefest-announces-2021-award-nominees/) for their contributions to the crime genre, including the shortlist for 'Best Crime Novel for Young Adults (ages 12-16).'
