Library opening hours over the festive period

All our libraries will be closed on the following days over the Christmas and New Year period:

• Sunday 24 December
• Monday 25 December
• Tuesday 26 December
• Monday 1 January.

Please check with your local library to see their regular opening hours.

Mildenhall Library will be closing slightly earlier than usual – at 2PM – on New Year’s Eve as the Mildenhall Hub will be closing at this time.

Libraries will continue to operate as warm spaces during opening hours as part of Suffolk Libraries’ Warm Welcome campaign. For local warm spaces outside of library opening hours, please refer to the Suffolk County Council website.

The mobile libraries will be running as usual, apart from on the bank holidays and dates listed above. You can view the mobile library timetables online.

Our extensive eLibrary services will still be available for you to access any time on your device.

Many libraries are also selling a new range of merchandise in the run up to Christmas, including packs of beautiful festive charity Christmas cards, Love Your Library jute bags and more.
