Suffolk Libraries offers second entrepreneur programme for women

Suffolk Libraries is running another free programme for women in Suffolk who want to develop their business or a business idea.

The six-week programme is free and will be run by We Are Radikl from Tuesday 4 January 2022. We Are Radikl help women to successfully start, sustain and scale their businesses, whilst also providing a route to funding opportunities.

This is the second time Suffolk Libraries has partnered with We Are Radikl with an earlier six-week programme proving very popular earlier in 2021. The programme in 2022 will provide places to 30 women to give them the skills, support and confidence to bring their business ideas to fruition.

The programme is aimed at any women with a business or business idea who need some help to get started. The deadline for applications is the end of the day on Monday 29 November and anyone interested should register as soon as possible on our website.

The programme involves approximately 36 hours of learning over 6 weeks. There is an initial one hour live online introduction and you are then free to access the rest of the programme flexibly to fit around other commitments.

Kellie Dimmock, Suffolk Libraries Information for Living Librarian, said:

“We are delighted to be working in partnership with ‘We are Radikl’. In these difficult times where small businesses and the local economy are still needing support, women may be looking towards entrepreneurship as a way forward to discover new opportunities and forge an inspiring career for the future. It’s a perfect time to be offering new places on this programme for start-ups.”
