Our Explore Together service is here to help people connect with their community and does not provide mental health crisis support. If you need urgent help, please call NHS 111 or the Samaritans on 116 123.
Explore Together is a telephone support service for anyone feeling lonely, isolated, or looking for social interaction. This service is free and available to anyone in Suffolk.
How it works
Use our self-referral form to tell us about yourself and your interests, and our volunteers will find local activities and opportunities for you to get involved with. We can also signpost you to other support services available in your local area.
Once we receive your referral form, we’ll pair you up with the next available volunteer who will organise fortnightly chats over the next six months to see how you’re getting on and make sure you’re receiving tailored support. At the end of the six months, it is our aim that together we will have found some great activities for you to enjoy and help you connect with your community.
Our friendly volunteers are all DBS and referenced checked, and have undertaken training in order to appropriately support anyone who uses this service.
