Come along to the library and read to Ash the therapy dog!
Ash loves to be read stories. Ash is registered with Pets as Therapy and he loves to listen to children read out loud, while their adults browse or read the paper nearby.
This session is aimed at primary school aged children who want to build their confidence in reading aloud in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Reading to therapy dogs is a great way to boost reading skills and encourage positive wellbeing.
Read to Ash for up to 15 minutes at a time and enjoy a range of dog-themed games, jigsaws and crafts!
