Derek B. Miller is an American novelist and international policy specialist. Born in America, Derek now lives with his family in Oslo, Norway.
His prize-winning debut novel Norwegian by Night (2012) was selected by The Economist as one of the six best novels in the world in 2013.
His latest release and first science fiction novel, Radio Life, was published in January 2021.
Derek is also director of the Policy Lab and has travelled all over the world working in international affairs since 1994. He has a PhD in international relations from the University of Geneva, and is currently a senior fellow with the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research.
Twilight Crimes, American mid-century epic, is the next novel due out later this year and will be a prequel to his first story Norwegian by Night.
