Join digital and media artist Michelle Brace for this creative workshop for 10-16 year olds at Stowmarket Library, as part of the Blank Page project! Learn how to create digital art and 'bring to life' your intentions and wishes for the year ahead.
Workshop includes a free lunch, drinks, snacks and festive hot chocolate, plus other goodies!
About the workshop:
Young people are invited to spend a day creating with digital artist Michelle Brace to ‘bring to light’ their intentions and wishes for the year ahead. Through a process of layering silvery and colourful collage materials, text, handwritten symbols and words, young people will create their own page for a concertina book to be lit up and displayed in their library.
Through photographic work with iPads and tiny LED lights their page will also become a miniature digital piece of artwork which will be printed and turned into a takeaway gift tag to remind them of their aspirations for the year.
This workshop is only for 10-16 year olds. If you feel your child requires additional support in the form of adult attendance in order to access this workshop, contact us by emailing katie.puls@suffolklibraries.co.uk.
