This year’s Summer Reading Challenge has now closed. Thank you to everyone who took part!

Visit your local library to complete your challenge and collect your certificates and medals.

On your marks, get set - the Summer Reading Challenge opens soon!

The Summer Reading Challenge is open to all children aged 4-11. The challenge is to read six books over the school holidays.

This year’s theme is Ready, Set, Read and will focus on empowering young people to forge new connections with others and unleash the power of play, sport and physical activity through reading.

Throughout their reading journeys, children can collect prizes from the library. If they complete the challenge, they'll also receive a special certificate!

Children can sign up in any of our libraries from 15 July. The challenge officially ends on 10 September.
