“Raised on the island of Themyscira, young princess Diana (Gal Gadot) has been trained in the fighting ways of her fellow Amazon warriors, despite the best wishes of her mother Queen Hippolyta (Connie Nielsen) who sought to shield her from combat. As she begins to learn the true extent of her powers, Diana and her fellow Amazons are thrust into battle when American pilot Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) crash-lands just off the shores of Themyscira, pursued by the might of the Germany military.

“When Steve tells them about the First World War, raging across the world, Diana suspects the god of war Ares, whom Zeus has protected the Amazons from, has returned and sets off to London with Steve to put an end to the bloodshed of the Great War.”

Desperate to make amends, he returns to Earth in search of a mysterious artefact which could bring Cybertron back to life and will seemingly do anything to achieve his goal.”

“Big budget reboot of the supernatural action adventure series starring Tom Cruise and Sofia Boutella.

“After discovering the tomb of ancient Egyptian princess Ahmanet (Boutella), soldier Nick Morton (Cruise) teams up with archaeologist Jenny Halsey (Annabelle Wallis) to retrieve the sarcophagus and transport it back to Britain. Now released from her ancient prison, Ahmanet unleashes terror on the city of London as she attempts to fulfil the destiny that was once taken from her.

“Meanwhile, after being informed by Dr Henry Jekyll (Russell Crowe) that he has been chosen as part of Ahmanet’s plan for world domination, Nick faces a race against time to find a way to stop her before it’s too late.”

Diary of a Wimpy Kid 4: the long haul

“One year after the events of Diary of a Wimpy Kid - Dog Days, the Hefley family are preparing to spend four days in the car together as they go on a road trip to see grandma for her 90th birthday.
