Martin Edwards will be talking about his latest thriller, Gallows Court, set in 1930, as well as his work as consultant on the British Library Crime Classics series.
Martin was born in Knutsford, Cheshire and graduated in law from Balliol College, Oxford, before becoming a solicitor. He has written 16 whodunits, is President of the Detection Club, and has won several awards including the CWA Dagger in the Library, the CWA Short Story Dagger, the CWA Margery Allingham Prize and the Poirot Award for his “outstanding contribution to the crime genre.” He is married with two children and lives in Lymm, Cheshire.
