Coastal Suffolk has one of the highest Barn Owl populations in the UK because of the Suffolk Community Barn Owl Project (SCBOP) founded in 2005. Over it's 18-year life span, SCBOP has helped put up nearly 2,000 Barn Owl nest boxes across the county, on nature reserves, farmland and on community spaces. Barn Owl Support Suffolk now carry on this legacy with a fresh approach, continuing to maintain and grow the Suffolk Barn Owl population.
