In advance of Sizewell C’s construction, Oxford Cotswold Archaeology has been working on one of the largest ever archaeological projects in the east of England. This talk shares some of our findings to date. We have unearthed evidence of prehistoric occupation in the Bronze Age, Roman salt production and the remains of numerous medieval ovens and structures. The discoveries offer glimpses into the lives of the people who made this special part of the Suffolk coast their home in the past.
