Read about how new parents have found our Me, Myself and Baby service

Since I joined the virtual coffee mornings in September, I have found them extremely valuable and they are now an integral part of my week and something I always look forward to! I have been able to meet and speak to other mums which would have been almost impossible this year in any other way. I would definitely recommend these virtual coffee mornings to any new mum!

Without the baby group I wouldn’t have met any other mothers who’s babies are around the same age as mine. It’s been lovely to connect with women who are going though this pandemic with a new baby and I’ve found it really supportive. In a time when we have had all classes taken away from us the meet ups have given me some familiarity and it’s lovely to have something booked in every week.

Our weekly calls and the mums Whatsapp group have been a complete lifesaver! I’m so pleased to have found this group and to have met such a lovely bunch of local mums who have become real friends. It’s nice to know we’re all in this together!

Being a first time parent has been a challenging and overwhelming experience. The virtual coffee chats with Ruth have been a welcoming distraction from the daily norm, l find myself looking forward to the weekly meetings with other mums sharing our experiences, challenges and being a source of encouragement to one another. It also helps to add a bit of structure to our day and provides a sense of community.

Before the group I was barely holding it together, I hadn’t had any contact with anyone else without the baby. Just being able to speak to other mums (who I would have never met any other way) made everything much easier to handle. I can hand on heart say, just something as simple as Zoom calls gave me the outlet I needed as well as essential advice.
