Sporting Memories is an event for all sports fans taking place every Thursday at Lowestoft Library. Join us and share memories of sporting events, take part in quizzes and games, and make new friends.
3. Boccia and Indoor Kurling at Gainsborough Community Library
Join us for a fun morning of Boccia and Indoor Kurling, taking place every Thursday at Gainsborough Community Library. Open to everyone of all abilities. Refreshments will be available from the Voices Cafe.
4. Art for Fun at Leiston Library
Come along to this friendly art group for adults on 24 September at Leiston Library, open to all abilities. Pick up a brush or a pencil, have some fun and meet new friends!
5. Knit & Knatter at Mildenhall Library
Bring your latest creation in progress to stitch, knit or crochet while you chat with other crafters every Friday at Mildenhall Library. There will be plenty of inspiration available from books, magazines and fellow crafters.
6. Author talk with Rosy Thornton at Lavenham Library
Suffolk-raised author Rosy Thornton joins us for a special Top Time event at Lavenham Library on 21 September! Rosy's most recent publication Sandlands is a short story collection inspired by the 'sandlings' of coastal Suffolk, by the landscape and its flora and fauna, as well as by its folklore and historical and cultural heritage.
7. Capel Community Cinema at Capel St Mary Library
Join Capel Library on 21 September for their monthly community cinema event. This month's showing is BAFTA award-winning film 1917.
8. Meet local author Laina West at Southwold Library
Local author Laina West will be talking about her writing and signing copies of her book This Fearful Thing at the Southwold Constitutional Club on 22 September. Her new novel This Fearful Thing is inspired by the little-known story of Ann Camell of Southwold, who, in 1645 was accused of bewitching a sailor, William Whitton.
9. Indoor Kurling at Lavenham Library
Come along to Lavenham Library and take part in some fun indoor kurling on 14 September, open to all abilities. This event is part of Top Time, a social group for older people.
10. Beachcombing at Felixstowe Library
Join us for a very special beachcombing event with Kate from Beach Bonkers at Felixstowe beachfront on 16 September! Comb the beach for treasure and find what interesting things lay under the sand. This event is part of our Open Space drop-in group.
