Theatre fun for all the family at Southwold
Southwold Library is hosting a variety of free themed craft sessions for children this August with Cambridge Touring Productions.
Cambridge Touring Productions are performing several open-air productions in Southwold and have organised free children’s craft sessions to go alongside them.
The craft sessions will provide creative fun for children over the summer holidays, and will complement this year's Summer Reading Challenge.
Each craft session will include themes from the performance. Children can make their own sword and crown, a fire-breathing dragon, Italian masks and much more.
These crafts events are free to attend but booking is required.
The full list of craft sessions include:
- King Arthur crafts – Friday 12 at 11AM
- Much Ado About Nothing crafts – Tuesday 16 at 11AM
- The Wind in the Willows crafts – Friday 19 at 11AM
- Charlie Locke crafts – Friday 26 at 11AM
- The Reluctant Dragon crafts – Tuesday 30 at 11AM
If you are interested in attending the open-air performances, tickets are available for purchase on the Cambridge Touring Productions website.
Southwold Library will also be hosting a special author event with bestselling crime writer Ann Cleeves on Sunday 4 September. Tickets are available for purchase via the library or online.
