Suffolk Libraries returns to Latitude Festival 2021

We are thrilled to announce that we’ll be returning to Latitude Festival for our 15th year and this time we’ve gone animal crackers!

To celebrate this year’s Summer Reading Challenge theme of Wild World Heroes, we will be hosting loads of different animal craft activities, including making squirrel tails, pompom creatures and snake plates.

Visit our stall and help us make a massive hedgehog and a super long roll snake, add to our crazy caterpillar picture and tell us what animals you’ve seen around the festival.

There will be free books for you to read or take away with you, plus fun activities such as storytime and rhyming games throughout the weekend.

Charlotte Clark, Executive Library manager, said:

The Suffolk Libraries team can’t wait to get back to the Latitude Festival and see all the families they missed last year. We’ve got lots of fun things to do which showcase many of the activities our libraries offer across the county, including the Summer Reading Challenge Wild World Heroes. We love enthusing children about books as childhood literacy and reading for pleasure are vital skills for their future as well as socialising with other families and the wider community.

Come and say hello to us in the Children’s Area!
