New Kickstart roles available at Suffolk Libraries

Kickstart scheme: Proud to be a Kickstart employer

If you're aged 16-24 and are receiving Universal Credit, you have the opportunity to work with us in one of four exciting new roles!

The roles are:

Library Service Trainee at Lowestoft or Woodbridge Library - a front-facing role where you will gain customer service experience, learn library administrative procedures and work to deliver creative activities and events to the community. A real chance to make a difference!

Libraries Engagement Assistant based at Ipswich Library or remote - you will undertake an on-the-job development programme to understand the prison library service and will also assist in promoting, delivering, and maintaining the service. A varied role, ideal for a self-starter.

Outreach & Communities Assistant based at Stowmarket Library - you will work alongside senior library staff on a project to promote and develop two key outreach services: Mobile Libraries and Suffolk Libraries Local. A great opportunity to gain experience in marketing, communications, and promotion.

To apply, talk to your work coach at your local job centre.
