Drop-in recruitment session for Kickstart roles taking place at Jobcentres
If you’re aged 16 – 24 and are receiving Universal Credit, you have the opportunity to work with us in these exciting new roles across Suffolk Libraries.
We are hosting drop-in sessions at Jobcentres for young people to come along and learn more about these fantastic Kickstart roles.
If interested, applicants can also attend a preliminary interview on the day.
The roles we currently have available are:

Library Service Trainee at Kesgrave Library

Library Service Trainee at Newmarket Library

Library Service Trainee at Ipswich County Library

Library Service Trainee at Lowestoft Library

Library Service Trainee at Bury St Edmunds Library

Outreach and Communities Assistant based at Stowmarket Library

Libraries Engagement Assistant based at Ipswich County Library or remote
We will be holding recruitment sessions at the following Jobcentres:
Stowmarket Jobcentre on Thursday 25 November between 10AM-12PM for the Outreach and Communities Assistant role.
Newmarket Jobcentre on Wednesday 1 December between 10AM-1PM for the Newmarket Library Service Trainee role.
Ipswich Jobcentre on Thursday 2 December between 10AM-1PM for the Ipswich County Library Service Trainee role.
Lowestoft Jobcentre on Thursday 9 December between 10AM-1PM for the Lowestoft Library Service Trainee role.
Bury St Edmunds Library on Wednesday 15 December between 10AM-1PM for the Bury St Edmunds Library Service Trainee role.
