Brandon Library to take part in virtual pumpkin festival

Brandon Library will be taking part in a virtual pumpkin festival for half-term week.

In previous years, 'Pumpkin Fest' has taken place across one day at Brandon Country Park. The library has told stories and the Friends of Brandon Library have held craft stalls to commemorate the occasion.

This year, the event is taking place online from 26 - 31st October.

Mat Sheldrick, Manager of Brandon Library, said:

"We are very excited to be involved in this years virtual Pumpkinfest. We've been working hard for the last few weeks, creating some great craft videos. We really hope that visitors to the online event will enjoy them and get inspired to make their own creations!"

The library will be celebrating with screenings of their pumpkin-themed crafts which will then be uploaded to the Suffolk Libraries Youtube channel.
