Arts and cultural organisations invited to new Five Minute Wonder sessions
Suffolk Libraries are looking for arts and cultural organisations to sign up for new Five Minute Wonder sessions, where they will be offered the opportunity to promote their activities to library staff.
The Five Minute Wonder sessions will consist of sessions for Suffolk Libraries staff to hear different arts and cultural organisations discuss what activities they will be offering. This will allow Suffolk Libraries staff to educate their local communities on free and low cost arts activities across Suffolk.
The sessions will start in October and run until January 2022.
Georgie Quinn, Project Manager of Let's Get Creative, said:
"Our Five Minute Wonder sessions are an easy way for organisations or individuals to spread the word about their cultural activities via library staff. If you're running a low cost or free arts event in or around Suffolk this autumn then we want to hear about it."
These sessions are part of the upcoming Let's Get Creative project which seeks to highlight arts and cultural activities and experiences. The project is being run by Suffolk Libraries arts programme BLOC: Building Libraries on Creativity funded by Arts Council England.
Organisations involved in the upcoming project include Britten Pears Arts, DanceEast, Suffolk Artlink and Creative People and Places (CPP).
