We are looking for people to join the existing trustees and library managers in supporting our libraries and the local communites.

General library volunteer

Broomhill

We are looking for volunteers to support the library manager(s) and staff. Duties include putting books on shelves, finding books for customers, tidying displays and helping visitors.

Home Library Service volunteer (18+)

Broomhill, Ipswich, Bungay, Lowestoft, Beccles, Mildenhall, Red Lodge, Eye, Halesworth and Bury St Edmunds

We are looking for people to help discuss and deliver books to customers who are unable to visit their local library due to health or mobility issues.

Café volunteer

Gainsborough Community Library

We are looking for volunteers to help provide refreshments and engage with visitors at the Voices café. This role is for a minimum of 6 months, working in partnership with the café volunteers, library manager and other staff.

Compassionate Conversations volunteer

Lowestoft and Ipswich

We are looking for volunteers to support the delivery of advanced care planning sessions, run in partnership with St Elizabeth Hospice.

Garden volunteer

Great Cornard Library

We are looking for volunteers to help support in maintaining our library garden spaces and enhance the space for the wellbeing of library users.

M-Powered Group volunteer

Glemsford and Stowmarket

We are looking for volunteers to help facilitate our M-Powered menopause support group sessions at the library.

Elective Home Educator volunteer

Framlingham Library

We are looking for volunteers to help deliver ideas for activities and work with the library manager to support in running the home educators group.
