ITV Anglia Tonight’s Becky Jago honours NHS heroes
Health care workers in Norfolk and Suffolk have become NHS heroes as they received awards during an evening of celebration hosted by ITV Anglia Tonight’s Becky Jago.
The rain kindly held off for Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust’s beautiful awards ceremony and summer barbecue, which was held at Dunston Hall, near Norwich, on 6 July 2012.
Suffolk Libraries David Grimmer, Mental Health & Wellbeing Information Service Coordinator received a glass trophy and a certificate for his Outstanding Community Contribution to the Trust. David has worked in partnership with the Trust and many other organisations to challenge the stigma surrounding mental health. He has worked closely with the Trust to coordinate events for World Mental Health Day and Suffolk Health and Wellbeing Month.
David won for always being ready to offer his time and energy towards new initiatives to support service users. He received his nomination on behalf of all the organisations in the Ipswich VASP.
Congratulations David! We are very proud of you.
